Roma scout Damiao
Roma are said to be scouting Internacional striker Leandro Damiao with a view to a bid once the transfer window opens again.
The tall 21-year-old striker, who won the Copa Libertadores last season, made his debut for Brazil in a friendly against Scotland at Wembley in March.
Il Corriere dello Sport understands Roma plan to ask club legend Falcao, who recently took charge of Internacional, for his opinion of Damiao.
Roma's new director of sport Walter Sabatini is looking to rejuvenate the team's attack and has also been linked with Palermo striker Abel Hernandez.
Another player on his radar is Rafael Toloi, the Goias centre-back who is part-owned by Palermo.
Roma are keen to find a replacement for Philippe Mexes and don't want to be caught short if Juan demands a move back to Brazil in the summer amid interest from Flamengo.
