| Inter boss Roberto Mancini is satisfied with the 1-1 Coppa Italia Final draw, though he warns Roma cannot be discounted yet.
“We knew we’d have to struggle at times and the atmosphere here was wonderful,” he said of the first leg encounter at the Stadio Olimpico last night.
“It’s a shame we conceded a goal on the counter-attack, as we really needed to avoid that, but it remains a good result.”
Julio Ricardo Cruz had given the Nerazzurri a precious away goal after just nine minutes, but Roma had the better of the game overall and equalised through Amantino Mancini.
Adriano disappointed before he made way for Obafemi Martins, although he did set up Inter’s only goal.
“He created a great assist for Julio Cruz’s strike, but it’s not easy to get away from this Roma defence, especially as they have central defenders who are very strong in the air.”
The trophy hangs in the balance, but Inter have a good chance of retaining the Coppa Italia for another year thanks to that away goal.
“We hope it goes well, but it’ll be another battle like tonight. We have a slender advantage, but Roma can be very dangerous on the break, especially away from home,” warned Mancini.

“我当然希望一切顺利，另一场硬仗在等着我们，尽管我们取得了微弱的优势。但是不要忘了，罗马的客场比赛比主场更有威胁。”曼奇尼最后用警告的语气说到。
通过两位教练的赛后言论，可以看出，我们保留着夺冠的希望，不会放弃，需要的是进球。而国米也不会放松警惕。第二场才是真正的决赛！ |
