The Giallorossi coach gave his thoughts after the game against Catania:
"It was great to be back at the Olimpico and I'm pleased that lots of people came to the stadium tonight. I'm sorry about the result, we could have played better. We tried out different things in training and I don't know what it was today - whether we were nervous or afraid to lose the ball too much. Have I been unconvinced by Stekelenburg? I've never said that, he's an excellent keeper. Our problem today was that the wide players didn't cut inside enough. Disappointed with the result? I'm disappointed with the points we've dropped, but I must say that both goals we conceded were offside. Bellusci's handball from Osvaldo's header? That was a penalty. Pressure? No, I don't feel any, but I'm happy the fans want to help us and they did that today. Obviously it's up to us to give them something to cheer about. I know what the fans are like in Rome, they're among the best in Italy. Could my 'reputation' as a coach be a problem? I don't think so. I've always tried to produce football for the fans, so that they enjoy themselves and want to come to the stadium. I hope people come to the stadium for that reason – to enjoy themselves."

回到奥林匹克的感觉很棒，很高兴有那么多球迷今晚来到球场，对今晚的结果表示遗憾，我们应该做得更好的。今天的比赛可能因为紧张或者太害怕丢掉控球权（这个问题貌似上赛季恩里克也说过，球员不敢深入对方腹地），碉堡是个很NB的门将。今天的问题是边路球员不敢内切太深。我要说两个失球都是越位，对方的禁区内手球是个点球。我并不感到有压力但对球迷今晚表现出对球队的支持感到很高兴，我们会给球迷提供欢呼的理由。我不认为我的教练“声誉”会是一个问题。
