Parma sensation Alberto Gilardino has admitted that he would welcome a summer move to Roma.
The Under-21 international has been heavily linked with the Giallorossi and the striker is keen on a capital switch.
"I’m ready to consider any interesting offers which would allow me to take a step up in level," he said.
"I read that Roma are interested in me and the idea of becoming a Giallorosso fascinates me.
"To play alongside Francesco Totti and Antonio Cassano would be a dream for any player. Roma is a great club with fans who adore football and the team."
Gilardino has become one of the most targeted players in Italian football after his 23 League goals last term.
He is expected to be sold by the Gialloblu given the club’s financial problems and Roma could be his next destination.
Some reports suggest that the Olimpico outfit will offer around £12m in the hope of signing Gilardino and teammate Matteo Ferrari.
