As reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, Valencia initially offered to sign Diawara on a six-month dry loan deal, paying half of his wages but now things have developed and Roma would be willing to include a buy option in the deal.
This buy option may either be a verbal agreement or in writing, and the formula would suit all three parties, as it would allow Roma to generate some cash in the summer, allow the Spanish club to buy him at an agreed-upon price and allow Diawara to immediately begin settling with a new club.
The 24-year-old Guinean midfielder has been appreciated by Valencia since the summer of 2016, when then-manager Suso Garcia Pitarch tried to sign him from Bologna for 8m.
