Real Madrid in advanced talks for Roma's De Rossi

Real Madrid have been in talks with AS Roma for some weeks over a deal for midfielder Daniele De Rossi.
The Italy international is a favourite of Real general manager Arrigo Sacchi, who has been negotiating with Roma since the beginning of March for the youngster.
Cash-strapped Roma have told Real Madrid that De Rossi won't leave for less than £15 million. However, those close to negotiations say Roma would be happy with a deal for £12 million.
While regarded as one of Italy's bright new hopes, Roma are prepared to cash in with Simone Perrotta and Olivier Dacourt ready to fill De Rossi's place and the cash raised a welcome relief to the under pressure Sensi family.

The Roma midfielder has no intention of leaving the Capital city side any time soon.
One of Italy’s brightest hopes, Daniele De Rossi, has pledged his future with the Giallorossi as transfer rumours are currently circulating around most Roma players.
“My future is 99% with Roma. I don’t say 100% because it’s dangerous. If they don’t send me away, I’m not leaving. However if the club needs to sell, they will do so.”
Many Roma players, including stars Francesco Totti and Antonio Cassano, have been linked to a move away from Rome this summer, especially if the club fails to reach a European qualification.
