Spurs to trump Roma for Wilhelmsson

Tottenham are aiming to trump Roma for Nantes midfielder Christian Wilhelmsson.
The Swede spent the second-half of last season on-loan at Roma, but the Italians have dragged their feet over making the deal permanent.

His agent Mino Raiola told The Sun: "There could be an extension to the loan but there have been several clubs who have shown a real interest.

"One of those clubs is Tottenham. Roma want to keep him but the final decision is for Nantes."
