Henry-Roma: Pre-agreement!

According to shock reports in Italy, Arsenal & France striker Thierry Henry has pre-agreed a deal to take him to AS Roma at the end of the season. Roma's sporting director Daniele Pradé and club director Bruno Conti met with the 28 year old's agent, Angelone Massone on Thursday and came to an agreement, which is believed that the two parties both wanted kept secret untill June.
However, due to a leak in the Italian media the news has been broken although neither the club or the player's representatives have yet to comment on what is surely mere speculation.
Rumours of a possible shock switch became rife when earlier in the week Henry's agent made the following comments about a move to the Italian capital.
“I have to be honest, I’ll confirm Henry called Totti to wish him well after his injury, but I deny stories that he has discussed a transfer with Roma,” Massone told Roman radio station 'Radio Incontro'.
“Having said that, both I and Henry would not be unhappy if the matter developed further. If the Giallorossi were to call, I’d be on the plane within half an hour.”
Henry who has just over a year to run on his contract at the London club scored in Arsene Wenger's side's 2:0 Champions league win over Roma's Italian rivals Juventus on Tuesday.
