The agent of Roma stopper Cristian Chivu has played down talk of an imminent move to Milan. The Romanian has been associated with the Rossoneri given the recent injury concerns surrounding Paolo Maldini. But Andrea Pretti insists that the whispers being circulated are in the realms of fantasy football. "Anything can happen in this game but I will repeat yet again that Cristian is happy at Roma and has no intention of leaving," he told SPQ Radio. "He has a lot of stimulus to do well and he really likes the way this club is going forward with a new project. "I understand that there isn’t a lot of news to fill the newspapers but these voices are just rumours." Chivu, who can play both as a left-back and a central defender, has also been linked with Juventus and Inter this summer. Meanwhile, Pretti has confirmed that Damiano Tommasi is on the verge of signing a new deal at the Olimpico. His previous contract expired in June but the central midfielder should still be wearing the Giallorossi shirt this term. "We are close to concluding his renewal," added the agent.
