AS Roma's board are ready to step up their pursuit of a replacement for sports director Franco Baldini.
Baldini's contract will not be renewed at the end of this season, with his incredible attack on Juventus and AC Milan this week being the last straw for Roma president Franco Sensi.
Lecce director general Pantaleo Corvino is the favourite for Baldini's job. It's been mooted Roma are keen to form a dream team of Corvino and Lecce coach Zdenek Zeman next season.
However, Messina chief Mariano Fabiani is also in the running, along with high-profile player agent Alessandro Moggi.
