AS ROMA, News from Spain: "David Silva will join Roma"
Some unexpected news from Spain: Juan Villalonga, the Spanish businessman from Madrid who is interested in purchasing Valencia, has revealed that left-winger David Silva is very close to signing for AS Roma. Mr.Villalonga said : "The deal will be worth 25 million Euros plus 5 millions, and you know what those 5 million Euros are for ....". This was the suprising and mysterious statement by Villalonga; nobody in the press really knows what those alleged extra 5 million Euros refer to. Moreover, he also said that his bid to purchase Valencia is currently on hold after speaking with Valencia chairman Juan Bautista Soler. Could Villalonga's statement be just a political move to destabilize the current Valencia owners and board members or did AS Roma sports director Daniele Prade' secretely negotiate for David Silva ? We will find out very soon.
