Bolton are back in the hunt to sign Olivier Dacourt who looks set to quit Roma and move to the Premiership in the summer. Boss Sam Allardyce has been tracking the midfielder for the past two seasons and came close to landing him last summer before the player opted to stay in Italy. It could be a case of third time lucky for the gaffer who is keeping a close eye on the Frenchman's contract wrangle with the Serie A outfit. Dacourt is keen to sign a new deal with Roma but the club appear to have other ideas and have yet to offer him the contract he craves.

The former Leeds and Everton man could opt to move on and Wanderers along with several clubs in England and France are waiting to pounce should he leave.

"Olivier is very happy in Rome," the player's agent revealed. "I met the club last week and despite the esteem (director general) Daniele Pradé holds him in, they have not been made a contract offer.

"I can say instead that at the moment there are clubs in England and France that are knocking on our door in order to verify our situation."

Allardyce has confirmed he wants to sign six new players in the summer and is already working on deals as he wants to get most of them wrapped up before the World Cup gets underway.

Juventus are in talks with Roma’s Olivier Dacourt regarding a summer switch, the player’s agent has confirmed. The midfielder was linked with the Bianconeri this week and Giorgio De Giorgis has admitted that a switch is a possibility, even if he added that his client does have a number of options at his disposal. “There are negotiations going on with Juventus, but nothing has been completed,” the representative is quoted as saying. “Nothing has been decided yet and Fiorentina have also made an interesting offer which is under consideration.” 达科特经纪人Giorgio De Giorgis 承认尤文正与达科特接触 "我们正在和尤文谈,但是目前还没有结果." Oggi il francese a "il Messaggero", torna sull'argomento rinnovo del contratt "E' da valutare. Magari non rientro nei piani della società, oppure è una questione economica. Se andiamo in Champions può cambiare tutto, ci sarebbe una disponibilità maggiore di soldi. Una riduzione dell'ingaggio? Se ne può parlare. Adesso conta il quarto posto e la Coppa Italia. Non c'è fretta". Certo, sarebbe una delusione non andare in Champions: "Meriteremmo il quarto posto ed è tutt'ora possibile. La squadra ha dato tutto quello che avevamo dentro.
