Monday, May 30, 2005 (http://www2.sbs.com.au/home/index.php3?id=58604) AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti is adamant that his future at the Rossoneri is settled, despite a trophyless season.
Milan lost the Serie A title to Juventus and then squandered a 3-0 half-time lead to lose to Liverpool on penalties in the Champions League final.
Despite the disappointments, Ancelotti believes his team has all the ability to bounce bank under his guidance.
"The team was not inferior to anyone throughout the campaign and I am convinced Milan are the best side in Europe," he maintained.
"We will use this disappointment to do even better next season."
"We'll all be spurred on by what happened, I can assure you."
"Clearly the bruise is still sore and we haven't the opportunity to get back on track immediately, but it does give us time to reflect on what happened."
