Roma Agree Terms For Atalanta’s Floccari – Reports
The latest reports have suggested that the Giallorossi are set to sign Floccari in the summer, after a deal was finalised today.
Atalanta’s goal scoring machine, Sergio Floccari, has been linked to Roma over the past month or so, following his dominant form with the Bergamaschi this term, where he has managed to score an impressive 10 times to date.
Floccari joined the club from Messina in 2007, following the Sicilian club’s relegation to the second division. Since then he has excelled with the Nerazzurri, and as a result, he could be on his way to the Italian capital come season’s end.
According to the latest reports from Tuttomercatoweb, there have been major developments surrounding the future of the 27-year-old in the past few hours, and it is believed that both Roma and Atalanta are very close to finalizing an agreement.
The Giallorossi are prepared to offer their fellow Serie A club a fee of 8 million euros in order to acquire the services of the striker, whilst they are also happy to respect the wishes of Floccari’s current club, by allowing him to remain with them until the conclusion of the season.
Both clubs are yet to comment on these reports, and so they are yet to be fully confirmed. Having said that though, Floccari has been strongly linked to the capital club recently, and so it is extremely likely that he will become a Roma player in the summer.
