Gianluca Comotto has completed his move to Roma but will spend the new campaign at Ascoli. The defender has signed a three-year deal with the Giallorossi, as reported by Football Italia earlier this week, but has been instantly sent to the Bianconeri. Comotto, who was netted on a free transfer after the collapse of Torino, should be guaranteed regular first team football with the newly promoted outfit. The Italian isn’t the only new face at Ascoli today though after the club’s participation in the top-flight was confirmed on Tuesday. Roma goalkeeper Carlo Zotti has also joined the side in a loan deal with an option to buy next summer.
