Roma are moving for Chievo Verona winger Franco Semioli.

After admitting yesterday that talks with Fiorentina had "stalled", Chievo sports chief Giovanni Sartori revealed: "Semioli to Roma? It could happen, even if they're not the only team which is interested in Franco. There is also Palermo, two foreign teams and Fiorentina."

Roma are willing to offer Stefano Okaka on-loan in part-exchange for Semioli, who is rated at £4.5 million by Sartori.

Lontano da Roma sembra ormai essere anche Semioli. Sartori ha giudicato ‘congelata’ ogni trattativa per il suo assistito, rimandando i discorsi al 22 luglio, dopo l’apertura delle buste per le comproprietà. Sul giocatore, comunque, i dirigenti giallorossi non hanno nessuna intenzione di partecipare ad aste con Fiorentina e Palermo. Sembra che il Chievo abbia fissato il suo prezzo tra i 7 e gli 8 milioni di euro, e dalla Roma in ogni caso non sarebbero gradite contropartite tecniche di giovani (come Landolina e Scurto).
