Sensi open to offers
Roma President Rosella Sensi insists she is only willing to listen to offers for the club if they are capable of doing good.
Italpetroli, the company run by the Sensi family with a majority stake in Roma, is in financial difficulty and needs to sell the club.
A bid made on behalf of a Swiss consortium headed by football agent Vinicio Fioranelli was rejected last week, sparking outrage.
Roma fans staged a protest calling for the Sensi family to do what's best and let go of the club.
“If there is someone interested in acquiring the club, I am willing to listen to them for the good of Roma, but you should know that this is a healthy club and that we have a very strong team that can do good things this season,” Sensi said.
Rosella's father, Franco, bought Roma in 1993 and presided over a renaissance in the club's fortunes.
He invested millions of his own wealth in the Giallorossi and built a team that won the Scudetto in 2001.
