Semioli has Roma option	Thursday 10 May, 2007
Roma have renewed their interest in Chievo midfielder Franco Semioli, according to the player’s agent. The Italian international was wanted by a host of clubs in the summer, including the Giallorossi, but remained in Verona following the side’s entry into the Champions League. “Roma have often expressed their interest in Semioli, but they will have to satisfy Chievo’s requests in order for him to leave the Gialloblu at the end of the season,” said agent Claudio Sclosa. “I believe he can be valued at something around £5m, he is one of the best players in his role, along with Mauro Camoranesi,” added Semioli’s representative. “Roma are very keen on signing him, but there are also other Serie A outfits who are interested, as well as Spanish clubs such as Valencia, Espanyol and Sevilla.”
