Strootman meets fans after unveiling 'beautiful' third kit

Midfielder Kevin Strootman was on hand to formally unveil Roma's third kit for the 2016-17 season at the club's downtown club store on Tuesday.

The striking kit - first revealed on Monday morning - officially goes on sale from Thursday 22 September, with fans able to pre-order it now through the online ASRomaStore.

"It's a beautiful shirt, with similar colours to Holland," Strootman said. "I look forward to wearing it out on the pitch."

The 26-year-old modelled the new kit at the club's flagship store on Via del Corso, before signing merchandise for supporters and posing for photos.

"It's always beautiful to be with the fans," he added. "They are always great at every event, like this launch of the third kit."

The kit will be worn for the first time during the weekend trip to face Fiorentina in Serie A.

【永恒罗马网】罗马发布本赛季德比专款球衣

        当地时11月25日，罗马俱乐部和耐克公司正式发布了2016-17赛季罗马德比专用的特制新款球衣，罗马队长托蒂作为球衣模特拍摄了宣传照和宣传视频。

        这款新球衣的主色调采用传统罗马红，和普通款主场球衣相比，这款球衣改成圆领，脖子后方和球衣两侧各有一道褐色条纹。球衣号码、队徽、赞助商标志等均改为金色，领子后方和球袜上都印有SPQR（Senatus Populus que Romanus，元老院与罗马公民，这句口号被用来代指罗马）。

        这是罗马俱乐部历史上首次为一场比赛发布特制球衣。新球衣强调了罗马俱乐部和罗马城之间独特的纽带，红色代表了元老院的红色长袍，而褐色和金色则象征着罗马军团的盔甲。

        球迷们可以从11月29日开始在罗马官方网上商店（asromastore.com）和耐克官方商店（nike.com）购买本款新球衣，罗马官方实体店从11月30日开始发售新球衣。
