Roma striker Mirko Vucinic is delighted to hear about Manchester United's reported interest in him, but he has stated that Roma is the club he wants to play for.
Reports in Italy claim the Red Devils are keen on the Montenegrin international as they look to reinvest some of the money likely to be gleamed from Cristiano Ronaldo's proposed move to Real Madrid.
However, Vucinic has made his ambitions with the Giallorossi clear: he claims he wants to remain in Rome.
"Of course, it's a pleasure to hear about such a massive club, but I have only read about it in the papers," Vucinic told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
"However, I have just signed an extension with Roma and I am happy to stay here. For now I am thinking about relaxing on holiday with my family.
"I am really happy with the trust that Roma have given me."
Roma did not have the best of campaigns last time out, missing out on a Champions League place, but the striker believes next season will be different.
"I think and hope that Roma will be more competitive. A club like Roma should always be competitive every year," concluded the hitman.
