Agent: Juventus stars will quit Italy for Premiership

Italian agent Silvano Martina says Juventus' stars are headed for England should the club be thrown out of Serie A.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Emerson, David Trezeguet, Patrick Vieira, Gianluca Zambrotta and Gigi Buffon have all been linked with moves away from Juve should they be demoted over Italy's Calciopoli scandal this summer.

Asked about the future of striker Trezeguet, Martina said: "Roma, as an example, will not ever be able to sign Trezeguet. The Giallorossa club is now emerging from a difficult situation, is reorganising everything and it will not ever be able to make that type of signing.

"The Italian teams do not want fall into the errors of the past. They've had the highest contracts and transfer fees.

"Buying Trezeguet would generate serious problems inside the dressing room. The clubs are now building serious programs. Only three or four clubs in the world can allow such figures (to buy Trezeguet).

"You can be sure that the players of Juventus who will leave Turin will end up flying to England."

Reports in Italy have suggested that Roma are taking a close look at David Trezeguet should Juventus be relegated from Serie A.

The Old Lady are embroiled in a match-fixing scandal which has hit Italian football, and they could face relegation as a result.

If they are found guilty of serious wrongdoing and are relegated, it is certain that they will lose a host of their top stars.

Clubs around Europe are already casting an eye on Juve's best players, with Monaco having a look at Pavel Nedved.

Roma are thought to have put their sights on French striker Trezeguet, who will not stay in Turin to play in the lower leagues.

His father and agent Jorge insisted that they know nothing of any interest from Rome, as he is concentrating on the World Cup with France.

"We must only wait to know what will happen," Jorge Trezeguet told Corriere dello Sport.

"The justice officials are investigating.

"The only certainty is that my son has another two years on his deal with Juventus.

"Even if those in Turin are negotiating with Roma, we know nothing."

说得还算有道理的，现在的罗马确实没这个能力去完成这样一笔重量级的转会。不过YY的权利还是有的，YY无罪～～～！！！[em05]

Liverpool go for cut-price Trezeguet

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez admits he fancies several of Juventus' stars after the club's demotion on Friday to Serie B.

The Sunday Times says Benitez has indicated he will move for several Juventus players this week, notably the France striker David Trezeguet. Benitez, who has only just signed Craig Bellamy for ?6m from Blackburn, sees Trezeguet as a cheap alternative to the likes of Jermain Defoe (Tottenham) and Dirk Kuyt (Feyenoord).

Benitez said: "We need to wait for two or three days but there are a lot of good players in these teams and they interest us. They will be a better price now than they would have been three months ago."

Trezeguet, 28, would cost upwards of ?10m, but Juve are keen to strike loan deals that would enable them to hold on to their top stars while they attempt to battle back to Serie A. Such a deal could suit Benitez, who has limited funds.
