Fiorentina Set Sights On Roma's Panucci And Juan
The Viola could take advantage of the Giallorossi's problems by snapping up two of their star stoppers...
Christian Panucci and Juan could become Fiorentina players this summer, according to La Nazione, as the club are searching for defenders to strengthen their squad for next season.
The main problem with both players is their salaries, which are high when compared to the average Viola player.
This problem is mostly for the Brazilian defender, but considering all the problems Roma are going through, the Tuscan side might be able to find a solution and secure what would be an ideal signing.
However, in case that Fiorentina fail to sign Panucci and Juan, they have already prepared a Plan B with another interesting duo: Udinese's Cristian Zapata and Felipe.
This could be a more achievable objective, as neither player has a high wage demand. Furthermore, they have grown into a formidable central defensive throughout the season.
Therefore, sporting director Pantaleo Corvino is pondering what might be the best solution for his club as they seek to strengthen an already competitive side.
