Report: Roma Offer Torino Loria & Cerci In Exchange For David Di Michele
The Granata are ready to sacrifice their star player, who has long been a target for Lupi boss Spalletti.
Roma coach Luciano Spalletti could soon reunite with striker David Di Michele as Torino are considering a swap deal involving Giallorossi duo Alessio Cerci and Simone Loria, according to Calciomercato.com.
Di Michele spent last season on loan at English club West Ham United, where he netted four goals in 30 appearances.
He is now back in Turin but is unlikely to stay put after the Granata dropped back to Serie B last term.
Spalletti has always been an admirer of the 33-year-old since coaching him at Udinese, and Roma could agree to release centre-back Loria in exchange for the ex-Palermo man. In addition, they would loan attacking midfielder Cerci to the Turin side.
Loria failed to impress at the Olimpico last season after moving from Siena and would jump at the opportunity to team up again with new Toro boss Stefano Colantuono after working under him at Atalanta.
Cerci, 21, was at Atalanta last term and Roma are keen to loan him out again this summer so that he can earn more experience.
However, Parma are also tracking Di Michele and could launch a bid if they fail to sign Antonio Di Natale from Udinese.
