West Ham’s Di Michele Dreams Of Roma
The self-declared Roma supporter David Di Michele has reiterated his desire to play for the Serie A club.
For several weeks during the summer transfer market, Torino’s David Di Michele was strongly linked with a move to the Italian capital to play with AS Roma.
Somewhat surprisingly however, the deal failed to go through, and the player was loaned to West Ham United, with an option for the English club to make the deal permanent at a later stage.
In recent times, the striker, who is still owned by Torino, made it clear that his dream is still to play with the Giallorossi one day, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
“The atmosphere in England is good, and I am enjoying myself, although it has taken some time to adapt to my new club and the English lifestyle,” Di Michele said.
“I always dream of Roma though, and what it would be like to start a new adventure there.
“I have said it before and I’ll say it again, I would love to play with the Giallorossi one day,” he concluded.
Di Michele’s West Ham take on Tottenham in the Premier League this weekend, whilst Roma do battle with bottom side Chievo in the Serie A.
