SKYBREMEN DENY DELLAS INTERESTby Adam Marshall - created on 16 Jun 2005 Werder Bremen have continually denied reports that they are on the verge of signing Traianos Dellas from Roma. The 29-year-old European champion is reportedly ready to leave the Italian capital in the summer and the Greek press speculated that he is set to replace Bayern Munich bound defender Valerien Ismael at the Weserstadion. "There’s a lot of nonsense in the press at the moment and we can’t help it if Dellas's adviser is full of his own importance. Dellas is claiming he has recieved an offer from us, fumed Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf." Schaaf stressed that the club is still keen to find a proper replacement for Ismael, but insisted that Dellas would not feature on the list of potential summer transfer targets. "The problem is that we are currently linked with all sorts of players, but the decision about who gets an offer from us is done by me and Klaus Allofs, our director of sport."
