The Roma defender has declared his interest in joining the Viola.

Matteo Ferrari went through a terrible first season in Rome and is now considering whether to continue with the Giallorossi or leave his current club. In recent days Fiorentina have reportedly expressed their wish of signing the young defender and reunite him with his former mentor at Parma: Cesare Prandelli. “If Prandelli wants me in Florence I wouldn’t think twice about it. I read about Fiorentina's interest in the newspapers but I had too little time to think about anything else except Roma up till today. “I must take important decisions about my future and I know that I have the respect and appreciation of the new Fiorentina coach.”
