Roma’s new goalkeeping sensation Gianluca Curci is confident that he will remain with the club over the summer.
The 19-year-old is co-owned with Palermo but he’s confident he will still be wearing the Giallorossi shirt next season.
"I’m relaxed about the situation," he said. "I’ve been told that there won’t be any problems in order for me to stay.
"I’m just thinking about playing football right now and hopefully the matter will be resolved very soon."
Curci is one of the few bright points of a disappointing season in the capital, after he overtook both Ivan Pelizzoli and Carlo Zotti for the gloves.
"I maintain an excellent relationship with them," he added. "They had injury problems which allowed me a chance.
"If I was dropped to the bench? It wouldn’t be a problem but I am getting used to playing from the first minute."
Curci’s ability was also recognised by Under-21 boss Claudio Gentile in March. "I played against Scotland and I want to keep appearing for the Azzurrini," he concluded.（channel4）
