| Goalkeeper Christian Abbiati has moved a step closer to joining Roma for the 2006-07 season, according to reports.
Abbiati is currently on loan at Juventus from Milan but whispers in Italy on Tuesday suggest that he will sign for the Giallorossi at the end of this campaign.
Roma are evaluating the Abbiati path given the contract problems concerning current No 1 Alexander Doni.
The Brazilian’s present agreement expires in June and there is still some difference between his new wage demands and what the club are prepared to offer.
A split now seems to be on the cards with other speculation claiming that Doni is on the verge of joining Barcelona.
As a result, Abbiati is wanted by the capital club given the likelihood that he won’t be staying with the Rossoneri once he returns to the San Siro in the summer.
Milan are said to be prepared to offer him to Roma on loan in exchange for the loan of shot-stopper Ivan Pelizzoli, who has spent this term at Reggina.
Abbiati did return to his high levels of the past this term after he was snapped up by Juventus following an injury to Gigi Buffon.
Although Abbiati has now returned to the bench, he did greatly impress for the six months or so in which he was handed the first-choice gloves. |
大体上的意思跟上次差不多,但有两点值得注意
一是新闻里提到关于多尼迟迟没有与俱乐部续约的问题,因为双方目前还有些分歧.而且多尼有转投巴塞罗那的可能.
二是说米兰把阿比亚蒂租给罗马,而作为交换,罗马会把佩利佐利租给米兰
