Roma coach Spalletti accepts Montella exit

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti admits Vincenzo Montella could leave the club in January.
"I have seven or eight players in my squad who are angry because they don't get to play regularly," admitted Spalletti. "Montella is among them, as I think he has been penalised by my way of dealing with the team, but I do it for the good of Roma."
The veteran hitman has barely featured for the Giallorossi this season, making just 17 appearances in all competitions in which he scored six goals. More importantly, only seven of those appearances were starts for a total of 597 minutes in Serie A, 76 in the Champions League and 190 for the Coppa Italia.
"Everyone recognises Montella's quality, but I cannot get the best out of everyone, especially as he is not the most commanding figure physically. It becomes difficult to make him stay under certain conditions, and the team has found a balance, but nothing has been finalised yet."
