11/28/2003. Roma striker Vincenzo Montella might not play against Lecce on Sunday afternoon.
The Little Aerolplane was forced to forfeit his presence in yesterday's match against Hajduk due to a pain in his knee that made the Roma doctors fear for a long layoff.
However an MRI performed today revealed the injury is not too serious, even though Montella might have to rest on Sunday in order to shake it off completely.
If Montella won't play against the Pugliesi, John Carew is expected to partner Antonio Cassano on AS Roma's offensive line.
