Report: Vinicio Fioranelli Lodges Bid For Roma
A Swiss-German conglomerate has tabled a 283 million bid to takeover the Giallorossi.
The Roma takeover saga continues as the Corriere dello Sport reports this morning that a conglomerate headed by Vinicio Fioranelli has made a formal offer to seize control of the Eternal City club.
It is suggested the bid is in the region of 283 million, the same amount of money that American investor George Soros was prepared to invest last summer.
But negotiations with Soros suddenly broke down when rumours emerged that unnamed Arab investors were about to step in.
Roma’s lawyer, Gian Roberto De Giovanni, has allegedly received a formal bid from the group headed by Fioranelli, which also includes the Flick family, a Swiss company and a union of Italian businessmen.
Francesco Angelini was also rumoured to be interested in the club earlier this month and was apparently ready to buy a 50 per cent stake, however, president Rosella Sensi denied having received any offers from the pharmaceutical entrepreneur.
The Lupi are now expected to give an answer to Fioranelli’s offer over the next two days.
罗马体育报称,今晨一瑞士德国集团正式向罗马报价2.83亿欧元,与去年夏天索罗斯的报价一样。 |
