Reports are suggesting that Inter midfielder David Pizarro has finalised his co-ownership transfer to Roma.
The player’s agent Fernando Hidalgo met Inter officials Marco Branca and Gabriele Oriali in Milan on Thursday, along with Roma sporting director Daniele Pradé, and it seems that the deal was closed.
Inter should net £4m, but were not able to include Amantino Mancini in the agreement after Roma declared him as untransferable.
The move will please Giallorossi boss Luciano Spalletti, who has compared the 27-year-old to Zinedine Zidane and was anxious to have the Chilean in his side after they worked together at Udinese in 2004-05.
Roma are expected to release an official statement after 18:00 local time.
