| Torino President Urbano Cairo is keen to negotiate a contract renewal with midfield starlet Alessandro Rosina, but is also eyeing a new striker.
The Granata have enjoyed an encouraging pre-season, ammassing six wins and just one defeat in normal time against Tottenham.
However, with something of a thin squad at boss Walter Novellino’s disposal, it is of paramount importance that Toro keep hold of last season’s hero Rosina by extending his current deal before the season starts.
“After the things I have heard from Alessandro and his agent it seems that his desire to come to an agreement is almost equal to ours,” Cairo revealed. “So why wait? The sooner, the better for everyone.”
