吉拉蒂诺看来也是想加盟罗马
Gilardino still dreams of Roma
Tuesday, 03 August 2004
Parma's talented young striker Alberto Gilardino admits that he is still hoping to move to Roma this summer.
The Stadio Olimpico side are the only one of the interested clubs to have made a firm bid for the starlet.
Gilardino is preparing for the Olympics with the Italy side to play in Athens, and said that he still dreams of moving to Rome.
"The only concrete offer at Parma arrived from Roma," said Gilardino.
"They have a top quality squad and many times I have been talking with my agent. Until August 31 anything can happen.
"Having the possibility to play with champions like Antonio Cassano and Francesco Totti at Stadio Olimpico, with an attendance of 70,000, would be a dream."
Juventus are also said to be interested in Gilardino, as are Spanish titans Real Madrid, but it is Roma who stand the best chance of landing him.
Parma, however, are showing a steely determination to keep hold of their promising talent, and will try and hold out until the close of the transfer window at the end of August.
