Traianos Dellas is expected to leave Roma at the end of the season after failing to secure a new contract.
The Greek international’s current deal expires in the summer and no renewal looks to be on the horizon.
"Traianos wants to stay at Roma," his agent Maurizio Tonicchi told Radio Incontro. "He loves Roma, the fans and the city but the club have done nothing.
"Dellas has always said that he would like to remain but we are just waiting to be contacted. An agreement can only be reached with the co-operation of both parties."
The central defender, who won Euro 2004 with his country, is now expected to be wearing a new shirt next term.
"There are just two months left of the season and I think there is only a 20 per cent chance that Dellas will stay now," added Tonicchi.
"There already should be a project in place for next term and that should underline whether Traianos is needed or not."
Dellas was linked with a host of clubs last summer, such as Porto and Spurs, but decided to stay at the Stadio Olimpico and fight for his place.
Whispers suggest that the former Perugia ace could move to Lokomotiv Moscow, where he may team-up with former Roma teammate Francisco Lima.
"I think in this moment maybe two or three clubs in England, but in Spain another two clubs," Antonelli told skysports.com.
Arsenal, Everton, Chelsea and Tottenham have all been rumoured to hold an interest, and, following his spell in Sheffield, it appears that Dellas is a fan of the English style of play.
Despite identifying two English cities in which the centre back would be content to ply his trade, his agent also highlighted that two Primera Liga sides were also in the running.
"Yes, in London, in Manchester, English football is very beautiful for Traianos. In Spain two clubs, the first in line is very important club."
Previous reports have suggested that Barcelona, Deportivo La Coruna and Real Betis are all considering a pre-contract offer, and the player's other representative, Maurizio Tonicchi confirmed in Italy that his departure from Roma was now more than likely.
"Traianos wants to stay at Roma, but the club made nothing to renew his contract close to expiry, at this moment the possibility he will stay at Roma is 20 percent," Tonicchi told Radio Incontro.
Dellas Set To Sign New Roma Deal

Following this morning’s declarations by the player’s agent, Roma have accelerated the negotiations to renew the Dellas’ contract.
The Giallorossi have heeded Maurizio Tonicchi’s words, who had declared on Tuesday morning that Traianos Dellas’ permanence in Rome was highly unlikely.
“Traianos wants to remain in Rome, but nothing has been done by the club to renew his expiring contract. Right now the possibility that he will remain with Roma has decreased to 20%,” stated earlier on in the day the Greek player’s agent.
However during the afternoon, Tonicchi was called-up by the Roman club to start negotiations for Dellas’ contract extension.
“If this morning the possibilities of Dellas to remain at Roma were 20%, after the meeting with Director Pradè and Doctor Mazzoleni, the possibilities have increased to at least 51%,” declared a smiling Tonicchi at the end of the meeting. (GOAL.COM)
