The agent of Roma midfielder Simone Perrotta insists the player wants to stay with the capital club.

Beppe Bozzo said: "We have not yet talked about a contract renewal, but this does not disturb me nor Simone. We recently reaffirmed the will of the player to remain at Roma.

"As I said before, if we can meet to discuss the renewal, we will be happy to sit at the negotiating table."

        近日有传闻称曼城、托特纳姆热刺、西汉姆等英超俱乐部希望买下佩罗塔，4月21日，佩罗塔的经纪人Giuseppe Bozzo就此接受了媒体采访。

        “事实上佩罗塔一直在等待罗马俱乐部的续约谈判，他的意愿是在罗马踢到退役。如果其它俱乐部向佩罗塔发出邀请，那么也是第二位考虑的，在佩罗塔心中留在罗马是首选。目前我没有同曼城、托特纳姆热刺、西汉姆这些俱乐部有过任何联系，而且目前罗马最关注的也不是转会市场，而是打进前四，只有到了六月份才会开始续约或者转会。前四的目标会不会对续约造成影响？作为球员或者经纪人我无法下定论，这是俱乐部的选择。我要重复的是佩罗塔的首选是留在罗马，续约对他或者对我来说都不存在问题，我们会很高兴地同罗马俱乐部坐在一起讨论续约问题。”
