That was quite remarkable. De Rossi scored from a set-piece, and despite Messina's protests, it was originally given. Then De Rossi went over to the sidelines and admitted that he scored with his hand, so it was taken away. Daniele was congratulated by the Messina players and the ref for his honesty, as well as Spalletti. It probably should of been a yellow card then, which would of ruled him out of next weeks Juve game I think, but perhaps it was because the ref didn't see it was the reason he was not booked, or perhaps it was that he was so honest. Remarkable stuff from Daniele, bravo to him, a lot of players would of just said nothing and carried on, but he knew it wasn't legit and said so. Could you imagine a Juventus player doing such a thing? No way. Lets just hope Messina don't get a late equiliser or something... Very positive first-half. The players look like they are really eager to put the last few games behind them and return to winning ways. There is a real desire to win. We are playing great football but unfortunatley haven't gotten that second, which would settled the nerves. Messina have barely threatened. Aquilani, Daniele and Perrotta are playing very good in the centre, with Alverez and Mancini looking very lively on the wings. Also, young Rosi is really impressing at left-back. He has great workrate and passion, and has looked sharp going forward.

It was a good first half from us. Messina had only one chance and that came when Curci made huge mistake when he was rushing out. Fortunately Panucci saved us. Goal was great. Nice cross by Panucci and perfectly timed run by Perrotta. Very nice header. Mancini had couple chances to score, Perrotta also had another chance. Messina couldn't do anything else than defend. I'm happy that De Rossi admitted that it was a goal made by hand. It was a honest act. Will you ever see Juve player to do that? I think every player from our squad is playing well. But there is one player I want to point out. And it's Rosi. He has played very well in left back position. He's defending well and has also made good forward runs. We have greta talent there.
