Laurent Robert insists he is looking to find a manager who will allow him to express himself on the field. The French winger seems certain to head out of Newcastle this summer after failing to convince manager Graeme Souness of his abilities. Robert said recently that he will look to continue his career in either England or Spain, with his preferred choice to find a coach who will allow him to perform regularly next term. "I will leave Newcastle," said Robert. "It has been a long and difficult season. The coach does not have much confidence in me and is not easy to work with. "I enjoy playing in England, but why not Spain? "It is not important which club. It could be in England or Spain. All I ask is to play." Robert said in a recent interview that he wanted Newcastle to release him on a free transfer after being deemed surplus to requirements, but chairman Freddy Shepherd insists the club will not be taken for a ride in the transfer market.
