Roma president Lillo Foti has confirmed that they are interested in bringing Reggina ace Giandomenico Mesto to the club in January.
The 24-year-old, who represented Italy at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, has been with the Stadio Oreste Granillo outfit for four years.

Roma have made a move to sign Giandomenico Mesto when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Stadio Olimpico outfit have already established contact with Reggina president Lillo Foti.
"Roma are one of the great clubs interested in Mesto, a player who is showing all of his true value," declared Foti to Teleradiostereo Sport.
"For now, it's impossible to fix a price but we will see during the process of negotiations."
The 24-year-old midfielder was part of Italy's squad that picked up the bronze medal in the 2004 Olympics.
