Mancini staying at Roma Monday 30 January, 2006
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roma have insisted that they have no intention of selling Amantino Mancini at the end of the season.
The silky Brazilian, now clearly back to his best, has been heavily associated with a move to Juventus in the summer.
But the capital club have today maintained that the former Venezia flop is someone who they are counting on for the future.
"Mancini has signed a contract with us until 2009 and we have made that clear on a number of occasions," sporting director Daniele Prade’ told Radio Anch`Io Sport.
"He’s had a difficult year because of his family problems, but we want to keep him in order to build something important for the future.
"We need highly motivated players and he wants to do well, he’s clearly showing that with his performances on the pitch."
