(Sky Sports):Roma deny Mancini move
Roma have denied rumours that Amantino Mancini is on his way to Juventus, after Italian newspapers reported an unofficial meeting between the two clubs and the Brazilian winger's agent.
With the transfer deadline nearing, speculation over the future of several Italian players has been rife, with particular attention being paid to Mancini.
Roma, however, have stated that the two sides are not negotiating a deal and Mancini will be staying at Roma. The Giallorossi's sporting director Daniele Prade admitted to have spoken with the player and his agent, but only to discuss personal issues.
Roma coach Luciano Spalletti has spoken out about the rumours, stating that Brazil international is going nowhere.
"Mancini won't move from Rome, otherwise I'll turn upside down Trigoria (Roma's headquarters)," Spalletti told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Mancini will not move neither will they offer us Ibrahimovic and Vieira," he added.
Despite this, reports say Juve are close to making an offer that would include Frederico Bazaretti.
There has also been speculation regarding the future of Antonio Cassano, who has refused to sign a new contract with Roma, but it seems he will be staying with the club for the time being although a move in January looks likely.
