AS Roma have completed the signing of Parma defender Matteo Ferrari
The capital club revealed the details of the transfer in their monthly financial report for July, which was published on the club's official website.
"Matteo Ferrari [has been signed] on a permanent basis for a fee of 7.25million euros (?.8million)," read the report.
"The fee will be paid in installments over three years, with 1.5million being paid to Parma now, 4.25million at the start of the 2005/06 season, and a further 1.5million at the start of the 2006/07 season.
"The player has signed a four-year contract with AS Roma."
The deal also sees Parma gain part-ownership of young Roma defender Damiano Ferronetti, while Cesare Bovo, another defender, will go to the Stadio Tardini on a year's loan.
