Discussions had started from June 22 and lasted for ever since Barcelona required 6 million to release the French, still under a one year contract with the FC Barcelona.
That's finally yesterday - Monday - at 6.30pm the FC Barcelona accepted the offer of 3,2 million euros to yield his number 8 to the Italian club of the AS Roma.
As soon as the offer has been accepted by Barcelona, Ludovic Giuly telephoned his new leaders to express his happiness to join the Italian club.
For the anecdote and according to the Italian press, Francesco Totti (captain of the team) and Christian Panucci (former team-member of Ludo under the colors of the AS Monaco) both listened to the door of the sporting director of the AS Roma to know when Ludovic was going to sign.
After having landed during the night of Monday to Tuesday in Rome in a private jet, that's finally this Tuesday Ludovic signed his contract with AS Roma.
