L’A.S. Roma S.p.A. comunica di avere sottoscritto in data odierna il contratto per l’acquisizione a titolo definitivo del diritto alle prestazioni sportive del calciatore Hossam Hussein Abdelhamid Ahmed, MIDO, dall’Olympique de Marseille.

Per l’acquisizione di tale diritto, l’A.S. Roma riconosce al club francese, il corrispettivo di Euro 6 milioni, di cui Euro 2 milioni, da pagarsi alla firma di sottoscrizione del contratto, Euro 0,5 milioni, entro il 30 settembre 2004, Euro 1,750 milioni, entro il 1° luglio 2005, ed Euro 1,750 milioni, entro il 1° luglio 2006.

Il contratto economico con il calciatore, di durata quinquennale, prevede il riconoscimento di un compenso lordo annuo di Euro 1,85 milioni, oltre a premi individuali in funzione del raggiungimento di prefissati obiettivi sportivi.[/B]

Mido has penned a five-year contract with Roma, while Parma have swooped for Massimo Maccarone.

Egyptian forward Mido, full name Hossam Hussein Abdelhamid Ahmed, flew in to the Italian Capital to discuss personal terms this afternoon.

At 6pm UK time the club finally announced the details of the deal, which saw Olympic Marseille receive £4m, although only £1.3m will be handed over immediately.

23-year-old centre-forward Mido will earn £1.2m a season for five years, plus performance-related bonuses.

For l’acquisition of such law, l’TO. S.  Rome recognizes to the French club, the amount due of Euro 6 millions, of whom Euro 2 millions, to pay itself to the signature of subscription of the contract, Euro 0,5 millions, 30 September 2004 enter, Euro 1,750 millions, 1 enter° July 2005, and Euro 1,750 millions, 1 enter° July 2006.
