Roma To Build New Stadium At No Cost - Report
A popular Italian building scheme could see Roma get a free state-of-the-art stadium...
Roma are set to build their new stadium at no cost, according to a report in Il Corriere Dello Sport.
The club have hinted at plans for a new venue, and further details are expected to be released during a press conference next week, but reports today suggest the stadium will be built for free.
Voices indicate that the new arena will be constructed through a scheme called 'project financing'.
The Giallorossi would find a suitable area to build on and make a proposition to the constructor, offering the company land to build housing on in return for a free stadium. The building company would then keep the apartments and sell them on.
The idea is that the builders pay for stadium materials and work by selling over 300 homes, making a profit in the process, while Roma get a free venue.
Early indications imply that the new arena will be based on English stadiums, with comfortable seating and excellent views. The stadium will be named after the late Franco Sensi, a former president of the club.
据称,罗马不需要为新球场买单。原因是俱乐部将把新球场周边的地块转让给球场的承建商,承建商将用这些地块建造300间左右的住宅并出售,获得的利润即作为新球场的建设成本。 |
