Chivu to snub Inter switch
Roma’s Cristian Chivu is not interested in a move to Inter according to the player’s agents.
His representatives, Becali and Pretti, held a meeting with club officials at the Trigoria training base on Monday where they underlined Chivu’s commitment to the cause.
The Romanian, who has recently returned to action after almost nine months on the sidelines, is thought to be high on the list of transfer priorities for both Inter and Juventus.
However, it is believed the former Ajax stopper is happy to stay at the Roman club and will pledge his long-term future with the Giallorossi.
"I feel as if I owe this club a lot," he stated last week. "For that reason I only see them in my future."
Chivu, who was a revelation last season under then boss Fabio Capello, is contracted to the capital outfit until 2008.
Meanwhile, promising young striker Alessio Cerci has renewed his contract with the side until 2008.（CHANNEL4）
