Rudi Voller is expected to be named as the new Roma boss on Tuesday following Cesare Prandelli’s resignation.

The German has been in talks with the Giallorossi over the weekend and he’s reportedly agreed to take over.

Voller is set to be in the Italian capital today to put pen to paper on a one-year contract with the side.

The former German national Coach could even take charge of his first training session later this afternoon.

The capital outfit opened negotiations with the legendary striker after Prandelli quit for family reasons.

His appointment is set to be a popular choice with the fans given his past as a Roma player.

Voller spent five years with the side, scoring 45 goals in 142 games following his arrival in 1987.
