Voller not rushing decision
Rudi Voller has revealed that he will take his time before deciding if he will take up the vacant manager's role with Serie A giants Roma.
The former Germany manager, who resigned after his country's woeful Euro 2004 campaign in June, has been assessing various opportunities to return to management at club level.
Voller has been offered a role in the management team at Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen while Roma are interested in having the former Giallorossi striker replace the departed Cesare Prandelli as manager.
Voller met with Roma general director Franco Baldini to discuss the position with the Stadio Olimpico club and the former German international has admitted he will need a couple of days before making a decision.
"It has been a satisfying talk," Voller told German national tabloid Bild. "But now, I must talk with my family and then with Bayer Leverkusen.
"I have many sensations in my mind. But in about 48 hours, a decision will arrive."
Roma are believed to have offered Voller a one-year deal, with the option to move into an official's role next year following Prandelli's decision to step down on the eve of the new Serie A season, citing personal problems.
