Claims that Italians are to rival Boro bid

Boro are due at a work-permit hearing on Thursday to see if Alves will be given permission to play in England.
But in the mean-time Boro have yet to agree a fee with Heerenveen - despite the fact they have agreed terms with the player.
Now Roma could be ready to throw a spanner in the works of Boro's potential record deal.
It now remains to be seen whether Boro can get the deal, which has dragged on for a number of days, done or whether Alves may remain in Holland or head elsewhere.

有荷兰媒体披露罗马准备在米德尔斯堡眼前抢走阿方索·阿尔维斯。本已经有新闻说阿尔维斯将转会米德尔斯堡，但是由于劳工证问题这笔转会一直没有正式达成，所以阿尔维斯是否可以转会英格兰还是个未知数。而同时米德尔斯堡并没有跟海伦芬达成转会协议，只是和球员达成了共识。现在罗马准备插手争抢阿尔维斯，不过这要看米德尔斯堡是否可以完成这笔持续了几天的转会，这决定了阿尔维斯是留在荷兰还是前往别处。
