Roma ready for Serie A return
Monaco goalkeeper Flavio Roma admits he’s be happy for a return to the peninsula if a Serie A club came calling.
“Will I return to Italy? I won’t rule it out, certainly,” commented the shot-stopper on Teleradiostereo Sport.
“Over the past two seasons I’ve had the opportunity to come back. Despite having been a Lazio youth product, I wouldn’t have a problem defending the goalposts of Roma, who I consider to be a great club.”
“I am happy at Monaco, as there isn’t a great deal of pressure and we are in a constant tactical evolution. Leandro Cufre was amazed when he arrived this summer, as the difference in pressure from Italy is completely different, but he settled in immediately thanks to all the South Americans in our squad.”
